2023 Walk to Emmaus Eucharistic Procession

The annual Walk to Emmaus Eucharistic Procession was completed on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moline, IL to Our Lady of Lourdes in Bettendorf, IA. This procession took place along four miles of neighborhoods, through downtown Moline, and across the I-74 bridge with a stop at St Mary’s in Moline, IL for Adoration. 

The theme of this procession "Walk to Emmaus" calls to the encounter the Disciples had with Jesus after the Resurrection where he revealed the full meaning of the scriptures and the significance of the Cross and the Eucharist in the history of salvation. 

Join in this beautiful procession that honors the love and sacrifice of Jesus, encountered in the Eucharist by following the Blessed Sacrament across the beautiful Mississippi River.
